Getting the most out of your Derila Ergo
First week
Take the pillow out of the box and leave it in a ventilated room for a few hours. Memory foam is compressed for shipping and needs a little time to reach its full loft. A faint new-foam smell is normal and fades.
Expect an adjustment period. If you have spent years on a flat pillow, a contoured one feels strange for the first few nights — that is your neck learning a new resting position, not a sign the pillow is wrong.
Which way round
The higher edge goes towards the foot of the bed, under your neck. The lower dip in the centre is where your head sits. If you are mainly a side sleeper, use the raised outer wings; on your back, settle into the middle.
Looking after it
- The foam core never goes in water. Dab marks off with a little gentle soap and let it dry in open air, away from radiators and direct sun.
- The cover is machine washable. Cold water, gentle cycle, tumble dry on low or hang it up.
- Air the pillow for an hour every few weeks to keep it fresh.
- Do not fold or vacuum-compress it for storage — that damages the foam structure.
Still not comfortable?
Give it two weeks. If it is genuinely not working after that, the 60-day return window is there for exactly this reason: email admin@derilaerrgo.shop.
